External training procurement
Since 2014 Optimus Learning Services have provided Arthur J Gallagher with recommendations for external training solutions for team members across the UK business where an internal solution was not readily available.
Arthur J. Gallagher had acquired a number of new companies and as a result, the number of team members in the UK increased dramatically within a short period of time.
Prior to the rapid growth, external training procurement for the UK business was decentralised. Handled by individuals within departments on an ad-hoc basis with support from the internal Learning and Development team. Given the increased size of the business, this was no longer a viable option as the focus of the L&D function needed to shift towards more strategic priorities in line with organisational development needs.
A new world
